Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. As an RDA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient office environment. Your expertise in dental assisting, combined with excellent communication skills, will help create a welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic or Dentrix
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up appointments with the front desk team
- Support orthodontic procedures by taking impressions,



adjusting appliances, and providing patient instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment at all times
- Assist with pediatrics-specific procedures when needed, ensuring gentle and compassionate care

Requirements

- Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification in accordance with state regulations
- Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Opendental for record-keeping and scheduling
- Experience working in orthodontics or pediatric dentistry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques and sterilization procedures
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools used for orthodontic appliances is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
