Truck Mechanic
at our
Fredericton
( Hanwell )location.
We’re looking for a diesel mechanic responsible for the repair and maintenance of large transport trucks. This job requires physical strength, which includes heavy lifting, frequent bending, working in tight spaces, and the ability to be on one's feet or walk frequently.
Responsibilities and requirements:
Repairing and replacing parts and components of commercial truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic,



electrical and electronic systemsInspect and test engines to locate faults and malfunctionsRepair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power toolsTest and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specificationsEstimate parts and labour costsPerform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance serviceComplete reports to record problems and work performedReview work orders and discuss work with Service AdvisorMaintain a clean and safe working environmentQualifications:
Truck Mechanic License will be an assetPrevious dealership experience is considered an assetComputer diagnostics & repair skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsSchedule:
9-hour shiftMonday to FridayPossible overtimeBenefits:
