Job Title 25/26-220E - Relief Learning Support Worker (FSJSS) School District : School District No. 91 Nechako Lakes Location Fort St. James Secondary, Fort St. James, British Columbia, Canada Job Details Relief position starting as soon as possible until the regular employee returns. Hours: 5.75 hours per day, 5 days per week. Part‑time. Responsibilities Work with school and district staff to foster and develop each student's potential under the direction of the teacher and other professionals. Assist teachers and other professionals in the delivery of regular or alternate programs with group or individual students. Function as an advocate for students and serve as a member of the school‑based team where required. Qualifications Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate). Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate program. BC driver’s license – Class 5 Full Privileged with an exemplary driving record or current driver’s abstract. Minimum 6 months of experience working with children/youth who have intellectual, behavioral or multiple disabilities. WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures. Pay rate note: The rate of pay above is based on a Certified Learning Support Worker.
