This position contributes to maintaining safe and effective provincial highways through pavement marking, sign installation, traffic control, and roadway maintenance activities. Responsibilities include operating heavy, medium, and light-duty equipment used for highway, airport, sign installation,



and pavement marking operations; performing seasonal highway maintenance and winter snow and ice control activities; conducting equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; assisting with traffic control and work zone setup; installing signage; monitoring safety compliance; documenting incidents and operational activities; maintaining equipment and material records; and assisting with crew coordination, task assignment, and quality control.
