PEI Connectors is an initiative of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce, that helps newcomer entrepreneurs succeed in business in PEI, and jobseekers (professionally-trained interprovincial and international newcomers, and recent domestic and international post-secondary graduates) develop professional networks that connect them to the local labor market.The program is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Events & Marketing Manager. This is a full time contract position, commencing immediately until March 31, 2027. Depending on job performance, program needs and availability of funding, this employment contract may be extended.Experience & Skills RequirementsThe Event & Marketing Manager organizes educational programming and networking sessions;
they also develop and implement the program’s marketing strategy.The successful candidate:works well with local newcomer and business communities, as well as PEI’s post-secondary student community and recent graduatesis proficient in Microsoft Officeis comfortable using database;




knowledge of CRM systemwould be considered as assethas robust written and oral communication skillshas a proven ability to create energetic in-person and online eventsis up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trendshas experience with website management: editing and maintaining content using content management systemshas basic graphic design skills to create visually appealing social media contenthas hands-on experience in content management, and an ability to deliver creative content;
