Make a difference as a Rehabilitation Worker at AgeCare in Salmon Arm, BC. Focus on resident-centered therapy programs to promote health and independence in a caring setting. In this full time temporary role, you will play a key part in assessing and delivering effective therapy programs under the guidance of experienced Rehabilitation Professionals.
You’ll be responsible for monitoring residents, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring clinical records are up-to-date. Your dedication will aid in the prevention of deterioration among residents, ensuring their well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Review reports and maintain accurate communication logs
Identify issues and collect necessary resident data
Supervise and escort residents during therapy
Ensure cleanliness and readiness of therapy equipment
Participate in team meetings and policy development Requirements:
Certificate or Diploma in Rehab Therapy Assistant
Valid First Aid and Food Protected Level 1 credentials
Fluency in English, both verbal and written
Experience working with older adults
