Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This is a hands-on role overseeing Accounts Payable while supporting revenue, reconciliations, reporting, and general accounting activities. The successful candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a small organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the Accounts Payable function and support the AP team.
Manage monthly revenue and funding activities, including journal entries and allocations.
Perform weekly cash reconciliations.
Support month-end, reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Provide ad hoc accounting support to the Controller.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and manage priorities.

ABOUT YOU:

You are a hands-on accounting qualified with solid technical skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. You are comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and supporting a small team.
