QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program

Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Current RN certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Above-average skills in physical assessments

Current CPR certification

Knowledge of basic arrhythmias

Competencies in initiating IV therapy

Proficient in computer applications

High level of initiative and self-direction





Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative RN/RPN/PSW team

Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Excellent attendance record

Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) Incentive: This position may be eligible for the

Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN), which provides a $25,000 incentive to qualified nurses who commit to a two-year, full-time employment term in an eligible health-care organization.
