Job TitlePlanning AnalystJob DetailsRate of Pay: $28.47 - $37.96 per hourHours of Work per Week: 40 hoursShift Work Required: NoDuties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Manager, Transit Planning; responsible for direct assistance in all transit planning functions including route and schedule development, ridership studies, service efficiency analysis, computerized database creation and utilization, assistance with the bus stop and shelter program, and coordination of information input into the Scheduling Software, Farebox and ITS systems.Creation and maintenance of maps related to ridership analysis, on-street service and detours through ESRI/ArcGIS software.Maintenance of a geo‑coded database for bus stops, IVR, ITS, Farebox, GTFS.Collaboration in run‑cutting, service cost analysis and budget variance.Liaison with City Departments regarding site plan control, street and alley committee, subdivision plans, zoning/land use planning, and major road construction projects.Co‑ordination with Transit Operations/Transportation Department regarding transfer connections, traffic priority measures, vehicle requirements, on‑street activity,
