Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Hotel Night Auditor. The Night Auditor will be responsible reviewing, verifying, and reconciling the day’s financial and operational activity during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Key Responsibilities:Verify and balance daily transactions, such as room charges and cash receiptsAudit guest accounts to ensure that charges and credits are accurately postedPrepare and distribute daily reports to management and other departmentsHandle guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional mannerFollow hotel policies and procedures for cash handling and guest privacyPerform all front desk duties, such as checking guests in and out, answering phones, and assisting guests with any needsMonitor and address any safety and security issues during the night shiftFollow up on any unresolved guest issues from previous shiftsProvide assistance to other departments,



as neededPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; some college courseworkin hospitality management or accounting preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel night audit or front desk roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (such as Opera or Fidelio)Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as neededAttention to detail and accuracy in financial transactionsKnowledge of safety and security proceduresAdditional Information:Starting wage range at $18 - $19 per hour (may vary depending on experience)Employee discounts on hotel stays and amenitiesFull-time position with potential for growth and advancement within the company.Reliably commute or relocate near to Calgary, AB T3N 0A3 for this job.Travelling and accommodation costs are not covered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
