Your New Role
As a Supply Chain Management Advisor supporting the Midstream portfolio, you will be responsible for managing sourcing and procurement lifecycle activities for capital projects across a diverse asset base. You will partner closely with project teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop sourcing strategies, lead competitive procurement processes, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
What You Need to Do
- Manage a portfolio of capital project procurement activities and participate in project planning and demand management discussions.
- Evaluate business requirements and identify sourcing and procurement optimization opportunities.
- Source, procure, and facilitate the timely delivery of materials and services required for project execution.
- Develop RFQ packages, establish bid evaluation criteria, coordinate supplier selection processes, and lead commercial negotiations.
- Create and manage purchase orders and contracts, including change management and close-out activities.
- Partner with stakeholders to provide supply chain expertise and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with supply chain policies, procedures, standards,
and strategic objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and support value-driven supplier relationship management activities.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 6 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading sourcing events, commercial negotiations, and supplier performance management activities.
- Strong understanding of contracting, procurement, and commercial processes.
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, or capital project environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable business value.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, LiveLink, and Tableau.
- Professional designations such as SCMP, PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma are considered assets.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
