like printers and fax machinesProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workAttention to detail and problem‑solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrincipal Job DutiesGreet visitors to the centre or virtually via phone or onlineComplete Intake with individuals accessing the centre – referral to appropriate service provider at Anishnabeg Outreach Inc. or relevant community partnerAssist clients with their immediate needs such as locating phone numbers, faxing, preparing resumes, as requiredAssist clients with accessing employment resources on the internet and other employment related computer functionsAnswer telephones, ensure messages are taken accurately and delivered to the appropriate staffUpdate (handout) for Internet sites and Job Search ToolsMaintain / update all resource boards to ensure material is valid and up to dateMaintain resource library, which will include researching additional resources, and updating materialOrganize and maintain office inventory cabinets and inventory storage areasPrepare and organize files as requiredAssist with visual materials for research reports and presentationsAssist staff in the design, execution, and evaluation of projectsOther duties as assignedIdeal candidates should have a deep understanding of First Nations, Metis and Inuit issues and other issues of equity.
