Position Overview We are seeking experienced Rig Welders to support upcoming work at CNRL.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform GTAW and SMAW welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems.
- Complete pipe fit-up, spool fabrication, and welding in accordance with project specifications.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings and welding procedures.
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules and client requirements.
- Ensure welding equipment and rig are maintained in secure working condition.
- Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, pipefitters, and other trades on site.
Qualifications
- Alberta Journeyperson Welder Certificate.
- Interprovincial Red Seal Certification considered an asset.
- Must provide fully equipped welding rig suitable for industrial site work.
- F3/F4 (SMAW)
F6 (GTAW)

- Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
