Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team! In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for our products and services, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service while driving sales growth. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and technical knowledge will help create value and a comfortable experience and foster long-term customer relationships.

This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales expertise in a fast-paced retail and off site environments, with a focus on multilingual communication. Our products include lawn care equipment, construction hand tools, outboard engines and commercial marine powertrain and power generation equipment. Position will include a base salary plus commission on products ranging from 100$ to 250 000$+

Duties

- Engage potential clients and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate product features through compelling product demos, highlighting perks and technical specifications
- Conduct upselling by recommending additional products or services that enhance customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive purchasing experience
- Maintain merchandising standards, organize product displays, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and appealing




- Utilize strong communication skills to explain complex technical details clearly in multiple languages if applicable
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods

Qualifications

- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly preferred (English/ French) to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Prior experience in sales or commercial marine sales is advantageous, especially with product demos or technical explanations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently in English; additional language skills are a plus
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for transactions, inventory management, and sales calculations
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks efficiently
