Summary:
We are seeking a
Salesforce CRM Architect to lead an initial
2-month planning phase for org-health, licensing, storage, and archiving evaluation across a large-scale Salesforce estate.
Successful delivery in planning phase will convert this engagement into a 1-year contract with potential for long-term renewal. This is a consulting job and the client is one of the major insurance companies in North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the overall health and governance of a large Salesforce workplace.
- Analyze Salesforce licensing, entitlements, and utilization to identify optimization opportunities and potential cost savings.
- Review storage usage, data growth trends, and retention requirements.
- Evaluate the Salesforce landscape, including objects, fields, Apex, Flows, integrations, and sandbox strategy.
- Assess archiving options across native Salesforce capabilities, third-party solutions, and custom approaches.
- Develop recommendations that balance compliance, retrieval requirements, operational complexity, and cost.
- Quantify technical findings into financial impact and build business cases to support recommendations.
- Prepare executive-level reports and present findings to technology and finance stakeholders.
Requirements & Key Qualifications
Required
- 8+ years of Salesforce architecture experience within complex enterprise environments.
- Extensive Salesforce Architecture experience within large enterprise environments.
- Proven experience reviewing Salesforce contracts, including License types and user models, Edition limitations, Storage-based pricing, Messaging entitlements (including Super Messages)
- Experience conducting Salesforce org health assessments, including Object and field analysis, Apex and Flow inventories, License utilization reviews, Sandbox governance assessments
- Strong understanding of Salesforce storage management, data retention, and archiving strategies.
- Ability to translate technical findings into financial impact and defend recommendations to finance and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Financial Services Cloud (FSC) experience.
- Marketing Cloud contact model knowledge.
- Salesforce Shield or encryption experience in regulated environments.
- Experience with broker or agency portals and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
- Experience supporting large Salesforce estates with approximately 10,000+ users.
- Insurance or financial services industry experience.
