Co-op Fall 2026 – Software Developer – 8 Months Location: 1941 Robertson Rd, Nepean, ON K2H 5B7, Canada Employment Type: Fulltime-Temporary Responsibilities Perform design, analysis and test functions under the mentorship of senior engineers. Document analyses, designs and tests (tech notes, sections of requirements specifications, design documents, test plans and reports) using prescribed templates. Implement software routines to meet software requirements. Maintain code base in accordance with coding standards. Develop and perform integration tests and debug implementations. Develop and perform design verification tests under supervision. Investigate system problem reports and field incident reports; perform root‑cause and trend analyses. Provide technical support during high‑level integration and qualification testing. Provide technical support to internal customers. Perform developmental configuration management activities. Present work at design reviews or other peer reviews. Some travel may be required to support internal and external customers. Qualifications Pursuing a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and takes ownership of assigned work. Experience with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred. Available for a term of 8+ months.

You must be eligible to work in Canada. Compensation Hourly rate: $21.20–$33.23, based on relevant work experience to date. As part of student placement, you will be eligible for quarterly pay increases.
