About The ProjectCross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC) Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc. and Arcadis Canada Inc. general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a recent, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.Position OverviewThe Accounting & Reconciliation Officer will report directly to the Finance Manager and support them on a large construction project by performing discrepancy administration and basic accounting tasks. These responsibilities fall at the end of the procure‑to‑pay process and include reconciling purchase orders, delivery records, and invoices. All activities are performed within the SAP system.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the accounting discrepancy team, ensuring proper follow‑up and use of appropriate toolsTrack and maintain records of all material deliveries across various site officesEnsure the team accurately records corresponding costs (MIGO goods receipt) in SAPIdentify discrepancies between invoices, delivered quantities, and approved purchase ordersLiaise daily with operational teams, procurement, finance, and suppliers to resolve discrepanciesProcess invoices, credit notes,



and rebates once fully validated with the production teamProvide support and training on the purchasing/procurement systemLiaise with the Accounts Payable team regarding pending invoicesAssist with the preparation of monthly accruals for costs under discrepancy and certain categories such as rentals and other recurring costsSupport the Finance Director and Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly financial reports and KPIs related to the procure‑to‑pay processRecommend action plans to improve procedures and overall site financial performancePerform all duties in accordance with company procedures and ensure proper implementation and complianceComplete relevant training to understand the organization’s information systemsMaintain strict financial confidentiality and data protectionCarry out ad‑hoc tasks and financial analyses as requiredEducation and Qualifications3-5 years experience in an accounting or finance roleEducational background in Accounting (Bachelor’s degree or Diploma)Experience with procure‑to‑pay processes; discrepancy resolution is an assetStrong cross‑functional communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience managing or coordinating a small teamSolid analytical and problem‑solving skillsGood working knowledge of ExcelKnowledge of SAP (nice to have, not mandatory)BenefitsRRSP with 5% matchingCareer Advancement, training and education opportunitiesTravel allowanceMinimum four weeks vacationThe expected salary range for this opportunity is $58,000 - $80,000.
