Overview

Sleep Tight Security is looking for reliable and professional LICENSED Security Guards to perform nighttime mobile patrols within an assigned residential area.

Your primary responsibility will be to patrol the designated zone throughout your shift, maintain a visible security presence, identify and report suspicious or unusual activity, and help keep the area safe.

This is a straightforward patrol-focused position. Guards are not expected to remain at a fixed post — the majority of the shift will be spent actively patrolling the assigned area.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols throughout the designated zone during the night shift

- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the assigned area
- Monitor for suspicious, unusual, or potentially unsafe activity
- Check designated areas and report security concerns
- Respond appropriately to incidents encountered during patrols
- Document and report incidents, observations, and relevant activity
- Maintain communication with the company throughout the shift
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and post orders
- Contact emergency services when required and appropriate
- Represent Sleep Tight Security professionally while on duty
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities,



incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes

Requirements

- G License
- Valid PSISB Ontario Security Guard License

Skills

- Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and procedures to handle various security situations effectively
- Experience in loss prevention techniques to protect assets and reduce theft risks
- Excellent observational skills combined with quick decision-making abilities in high-pressure scenarios
- Explicit communication skills for reporting incidents accurately and liaising with emergency responders
- Ability to drive, stand, walk, or remain stationary for extended periods while maintaining focus on surroundings
- Knowledge of safety regulations and security best practices applicable to diverse environments

Pay: $20.00 per hour
