As a triple bottom line company, we balance purpose and performance - and we’re looking for a Senior Manager, FP&A; to help drive both. This is a 15-month contract based out of our Richmond head office, playing a key role in shaping how financial insights power decision-making across the business.The RoleAs the Senior Manager, FP&A;, you’ll sit at the center of business partnering, financial planning, and performance reporting. You’ll translate business needs into transparent financial insights, guide planning processes, and ensure reporting is consistent, accurate, and genuinely useful.You’ll work closely with senior leaders and collaborate with our centralized BI team (who own data engineering and builds), while you own the financial logic, interpretation, and storytelling.The scopeBusiness Partnering & ReportingPartner with senior leaders to define reporting needs, KPIs, and success metricsTranslate business questions into clear financial requirements and reporting frameworksEnsure consistency in financial definitions and performance metrics across functionsDeliver clear, actionable insights that support executive and functional decision-makingValidate reporting outputs for accuracy, relevance,
and usabilitySupport ongoing IFS system enhancements, ensuring financial reporting (including SKU profitability) reflects changes accuratelyPlanning & ForecastingLead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and rolling forecast cyclesPartner with budget owners to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and align on targetsOwn the planning model, ensuring integrity and proper use across the businessDeliver scenario analysis and long-range planning to support strategic decisionsSupport the S&OP; process with financial insights on trade-offs, investment, and resource allocationAnalyze monthly results vs. budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and actionsPartner with the BI team to define reporting requirements and prioritize enhancementsOwn financial logic, assumptions, and metric definitions (while BI owns technical builds)Contribute to data governance to ensure finance needs are embedded in reporting structuresTest and validate dashboards and reports prior to releaseContinuously improve SKU profitability logic and support monthly close processesNotesRichmond, BC (Head Office) | Preferred Start: JulyBase Salary: $120,000–$140,000 (commensurate with experience)#J-18808-Ljbffr
