To learn more, visit www.Care.CaCARE Canada is looking for a Senior Manager, Grants Finance & ComplianceAbout the roleReporting to Deputy Director, the Senior Manager, Grants Finance & Compliance will lead and support a team of Managers, Grants Finance & Compliance and conduct several processes to meet operational and contractual requirements that support the effective management of various development projects. This position is accountable for the development of systems for effective project financial management, ensuring the funds are used for the intended purpose, donor compliance requirements, support the development of project proposal budgets, oversee the analysis on project expenditure against budgets, investigate variances and provide risk mitigation.This involves the project accounting cycle, continuous review, update and analysis of the portfolio performance of projects to ensure adequate planning, forecasting and measurement of the Outcome Area budget targets. The incumbent is also expected to provide coaching, technical advice, and capacity building to Grants Manager direct reports and CO’s/Partner project finance staff.What you bringUniversity degree in AccountingA minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior financial roleComprehensive knowledge and skills in contracts negotiations with various Government agencies (GAC),
