Be a part of The Salvation Army's mission as the Christmas Gifts of Hope Program Coordinator. This role focuses on community service, registrations, and participant support, primarily during the holiday season.
In this temporary contract position, you will lead registration days in cooperation with the Casework Manager and assist with initial participant assessments for the Gifts of Hope program. Your role involves comprehensive data management using tools like Microsoft Excel and Link2Feed while providing compassionate support to diverse community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate Gifts of Hope registration events with the Casework Manager
• Conduct initial intake assessments and participant registrations
• Verify applicant information to prevent duplication of services
• Maintain essential data in the case management database
• Train and lead volunteers for the registration process
Requirements:
• High school diploma; community service diploma preferable
• One year experience in community service environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management
• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license and insurance
• Solid communication and organizational skills
