Surespan Group is hiring a dedicated Yard Manager for our Prince George, BC location. This position offers the chance to use your organizational and excavator operating skills in a full time capacity.

In this essential role, you will oversee the daily operations of our yard, ensuring it runs efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include coordinating equipment movements, liaising with management regarding inventory, and ensuring that all equipment is ready for upcoming projects. This hands-on role requires an individual with both a strong sense of urgency and leadership abilities capable of navigating the challenges of a busy yard environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily operations, focusing on efficiency and safety
• Manage equipment and material movements for projects




• Ensure cleanliness and preparedness of machinery
• Collaborate with diverse teams, operators, and management
• Operate excavators and other heavy machinery

Requirements:
• Relevant experience in yard or industrial roles
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Operating experience with excavators is mandatory
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
