up to 3 % of your salary).The Role:The Accounting Manager will lead the company’s financial reporting processes with a solid focus on month‑end close, audit coordination, and tax compliance. This role ensures the integrity of financial information, strengthens internal controls, and supports strategic decision‑making through timely and accurate reporting.Responsibilities:Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standardsPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and financial statementsServe as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audits and managing all related schedules, documentation, and deliverablesOversee corporate tax compliance, including tax provisions, provincial tax filings, and coordination with external tax advisors for income and indirect taxesMaintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsIdentify and implement process improvements, including automation and ERP/system enhancements, to improve efficiency and accuracyPartner with FP&A and operational teams to provide financial insights and support business decision‑makingSupervise, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff, fostering a high‑performance and accountable team cultureOther duties as requiredCompensation:$90,000 – $115,000 / yr CAD.
