As an Intake Clinician, you will work within a strengths-based framework to support children and youth. You will evaluate referrals for mental health or substance use needs, ensuring timely access to necessary services. The role includes providing supportive counseling and engaging in program development that meets the needs of youth and families.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform initial assessments on youth referrals
• Facilitate access to mental health resources and services
• Document assessments and treatment plans accurately




• Provide crisis intervention and brief clinical support
• Participate in community presentations regarding services

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in applicable health sciences
• Two years of relevant experience with youth mental health
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practices
• Strong team-oriented skills to engage with care providers
