The Department of Geography, Workplace and Geomatics seeks a scholar for a tenure-track position. Ideal candidates will have expertise in urban environmental change, housing, and community mobilization. You will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both English and French, and engage in scholarly activities that bolster your research program and academic service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach courses in urban sustainability and human geography
• Conduct innovative research and secure funding
• Supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects
• Participate in departmental academic service and administration
• Contribute to research knowledge mobilization strategies
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Geography or related field by July 1, 2027
• Excellent communication skills in English and French
• Proven record of research with peer-reviewed publications
• Ability to attract external funding for research
• Evidence of effective teaching at the post-secondary level
