Join the Calgary Epilepsy Program as an Associate Physician, where you will engage in meaningful patient care in a collaborative setting. This role is suited for internationally trained doctors interested in epilepsy management.
As an Associate Physician, you will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering essential care and support. This role provides a chance to collaborate with leading epileptologists, nurses, and other specialists in the Seizure Monitoring Unit. Gain valuable experience while making a significant impact in patients' lives in a well-structured workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed patient admissions and evaluations
• Deliver daily inpatient care with patient-centered focus
• Oversee and coordinate diagnostic tests and treatments
• Assist with discharge planning for transitioning patients
• Engage in multidisciplinary rounds and outpatient clinics
Requirements:
• Valid eligibility to work in Canada
• International medical degree recognized by the CPSA
• Completion of one year supervised postgraduate education
• Mandatory MCCQE1 completion
• Preference for recent acute care or neurology experience
