Join Schroeder Ambulatory Centre as a part-time Anesthesia Assistant in Ontario. This on-site role focuses on providing effective anesthesia care and patient monitoring during surgical procedures.

Reporting to the Manager, OR & PACU, this role involves assisting in patient anesthetic care and maintaining safety standards throughout the procedure. Key competencies include excellent technical skills, clinical assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide anesthesia support during procedures
• Monitor patients to ensure safety and stability
• Under supervision, perform necessary clinical assessments
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
• Keep clinical knowledge updated through continuous education

Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Assistant program
• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences
• Registration with Ontario nursing or respiratory therapy college
• Current ACLS certification and peri-operative experience
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
