As part of the Environmental Services group, you will contribute to various archaeological projects across Ontario, executing Stage 2-4 field work under licensed archaeologists. This hands-on role involves physically demanding outdoor labor, often requiring travel and overnight stays. Your work will help preserve significant cultural resources while ensuring safety and quality in compliance with Stantec's policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform test pit and pedestrian survey activities
• Conduct archaeological site excavations and documentation
• Collect and catalog artifacts during fieldwork
• Adhere to occupational health and safety policies
• Collaborate with Indigenous communities to foster respectful relationships
Requirements:
• Experience with physically demanding outdoor labor
• Ability to travel and accommodate overnight stays
• Valid G driver’s license is preferred
• Experience working in teams and independently
• Willingness to learn and adapt
