310T Truck and Coach Mechanic - YYZ FuelingJob Category: TechnicalRequisition Number: 310TT022469Posted: May 7, 2026Full-TimeLocationShowing 1 locationOverviewWe are looking for a dedicated mechanic to diagnose, repair, and service the Menzies fleet of vehicles and related equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer work specifications, ensuring secure work practices and operating procedures are adhered to.Main responsibilitiesReceive work orders and obtain necessary tools for repairs.Transport vehicles to be repaired by driving, towing, or pushing into service bays.Work with vehicles including tugs, forklifts, pay loaders, fuel trucks, and other airport vehicles.Inspect parts and motor vehicles to identify defective or broken parts.Repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems.Obtain replacement parts, install them, and/or make necessary repairs.Rebuild assemblies or systems as needed.Consult with Supervisor for complex repairs requiring direction or approval for ordering parts.Complete work orders and provide status updates on open work orders.Ensure safe and secure operations in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security,



and all government statutory requirements.Additional duties may include changing batteries, tires, oil, and other minor repairs.Qualifications and ExperienceQualified Mechanic with 310T certification and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.Knowledge of heavy‑duty diesel/automotive equipment.Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex hydraulic and electrical systems.Own tools and ability to operate various power and hand tools safely.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Flexibility to work all hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by operational requirements.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work comfortably with bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling various items.Clean driving record with a certified copy of the Driver’s Abstract.Openness to obtain and hold all required security clearances.Additional InformationThis is a unionized position.Starting rate: $44.50 per hour.Shift and ScheduleAvailable shift times: AM Shift, PM Shift, Midnight (MN) Shift.Holidays.#J-18808-Ljbffr
