in doing so.Reads and respects any ISCD individual plan for a child in their programMaintains constant supervision of the children in indoor/outdoor activities and during rest periodsEnsures guidance, discipline and behaviour expectations are consistentAttends to children’s physical needs while applying positive hygiene practices and keeps program facilities and equipment safe and cleanFosters open communication with families/caregivers and other team members, documents, and maintains records as directedWelcomes and greets all parents and children dailyCommunicates child’s progress with parent/caregiver and any needs or concerns discernedCommunicates program activities to familiesOrients families into program when designated to do soMaintains program records – attendance, communication log, child observations, incident reports, etc.Signs-in and out accurately every work daySubmits accurate timesheets on timeSubmits leave requests within the required timelinesCommunicates absence to manager before scheduled start timeSupports all early childhood programs and initiatives and performs other related duties as requiredMay be required to attend meetingsMay be designated to attend professional development trainingMay provide direction to ECE I workers, Responsible Adult workers, summer students, and/or volunteersSupports the team to meet the requirements of Childcare Program LicensingAbides by provincial child care regulationsWorks within the ECEBC Code of EthicsAbides by Tla’amin Nation early childhood policies and proceduresMaintains confidentiality of all information related to the program’s children, families, and staffReports any concerns or issues to the manager related to program delivery, child well-being, and licensing regulations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
