Support residents in need at The Salvation Army’s Centre of Hope in downtown Calgary. This full-time Program Aid role involves laundry, housekeeping duties, and managing resident belongings efficiently.

This position provides essential support to Resident Support Workers, aiding in tasks like transporting gear and conducting resident room pack-ups. You'll handle laundry services while ensuring a clean environment for residents. Your contributions help The Salvation Army fulfill its mission of providing hope and dignity to individuals in transition.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport gear, supplies, and mattresses safely
• Clean the laundry room and dispose of garbage weekly
• Conduct resident room pack-ups and manage storage




• Audit supplies and inventory on a monthly basis
• Report unusual activities to team leaders

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
• Standard First Aid and CPR certification
• Up to three months of relevant experience
• Physical endurance for lifting up to 50 pounds
