Enhance children's lives as a Part time Occupational Therapist at Monarch House in Calgary. Focus on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and facilitate their engagement in daily activities.
This role involves creating and implementing effective treatment plans for children aged 2-18 with ASD. Work closely with families and an interdisciplinary team to assess needs and develop individualized care strategies. The position also includes mentoring students and contributing to clinic policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client needs collaboratively with families
• Create reports and administer standardized assessments
• Develop personalized treatment plans for each child
• Supervise Occupational Therapy students during their training
• Stay updated on current OT practices and methods
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience with ASD children
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Acquainted with assessment tools and techniques
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
• Membership in ACOT & CAOT preferred
