Join Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc as an Archaeology Field Worker. This full time term role involves direct fieldwork, surveys, and assisting in data analysis.
Working with Knúcwmens le Sxwixwéytemc Archaeology Services, you will be integral to conducting archaeological surveys and research. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of relevant outdoor experience and is eager to collaborate on cultural resource management projects. This role will expand your skills in field operations and enhance cultural site preservation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct monitoring and data recovery during field surveys
• Help identify archaeological features and prepare reports
• Work alongside lead archaeologists for site assessments
• Maintain and manage fieldwork equipment and data
• Ensure safety compliance in all field activities
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of fieldwork experience required
• Level 1 First Aid certificate or willing to obtain
• Clean BC Class 5 driver’s licence necessary
• Satisfactory drug testing mandatory
• Experience in Cultural Resource Management an asset
