The University of Toronto is looking for a proactive User Services Librarian to fill a contractually-limited term. This position engages with students and faculty at both the Factor-Inwentash School of Social Work and the Department of Sociology, emphasizing social justice outcomes. You will manage consultancy on research methodologies while also fostering collaboration within community engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as liaison librarian for the social work school and sociology
• Manage Ask the Library chat service




• Consult on research project reviews and possible co-authorship
• Participate in casual employee training and supervision
• Provide detailed research assistance via multiple platforms

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in library or information science
• Dedication to equity, diversity, and accessibility
• Proficient communication, including intercultural skills
• Proven ability to establish skilled relationships
• Knowledge of Indigenous community experiences
