About the Role We’re looking for a proactive, results-driven professional to join our team as Consultant, New Vehicle Acquisition. In this role, you will serve as the primary client partner and process owner for the end-to-end acquisition of fleet vehicles, from model year setup through delivery. You will guide clients through specification, cost analysis, and manufacturer selection to ensure acquisition decisions align with their fleet performance and financial goals. Success in this role results in a seamless client acquisition experience, optimized total cost of ownership, and strengthened client relationships that support retention and Element’s overall profitability.
What You’ll Do Primary client contact & owner of the factory order acquisitions process (wing-to-wing).
Guides client through model/manufacturer evaluation aligned to fleet performance goals.
Assists client with vehicle/specification decision-making.
Keeps client informed on OEM changes impacting their fleet.
Works directly with Commercial (VP, AE, Sales, Consultants) on account strategies.
Creates LCCA, payment schedules, price & specs documentation.
Creates OEM comparisons and makes recommendations on best value packages & equipment.
Researches/resolves client inquiries throughout acquisition process by engaging cross-functional acquisition team.
Partners with New Business Activations to provide onboarding guidance, training, and acquisition recommendations for new clients.
Provides client-facing training (Fleet Select, DLO).
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent business experience.
3–4 years of professional experience with direct client contact.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Ability to influence client decisions with diplomacy and consultative skill.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications Effective decision-making and problem-solving ability.
Highly organized with solid time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Results-oriented and accountable; takes ownership of outcomes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to adapt to change with flexibility.

Compensation The hiring base salary range for this position is $62,600-$86,000 annually. This range represents the Company's good‑faith estimate of the expected base salary at the time of posting. Salary ranges may vary based on the geographic location where the work is performed. The salary range listed in this posting applies only to the location identified. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the successful candidate's qualifications, knowledge, skills, experience, internal pay equity, and relevant market data.
In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in annual incentive programs, including bonuses, commissions, or other incentive compensation, as applicable to the role.
