Support Indigenous youth through healing initiatives in Prince Albert, SK, as a Mentor focused on land-based teaching. This term role empowers young individuals to navigate grief and connect with nature.

As a Healing on the Land Mentor, you will work closely with youth, families, and communities, promoting healing through cultural and land-based methods. Your experience with Indigenous traditions and outdoor survival will be instrumental in creating impactful mentoring experiences. This role requires dedication to nurturing young minds and fostering resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage youth in land-based activities and survival training
• Facilitate one-on-one counselling in natural settings
• Organize and execute camping trips for hands-on learning




• Adapt programs to fit environmental and participant needs
• Ensure proper maintenance of camping gear and materials

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant outdoor experience
• Understanding of Indigenous values and traditions
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess a valid Driver's License
• Background check submission required
