As the Mobile Apprentice Technician/Mechanic you will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technicians, and the other Tractor Technicians to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action. This position will work outside of the shop running our Mobile Repair Unit.
A minimum of Level 1 Heavy Equipment Technician
You will be a registered Apprentice with the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board
Passed the Apprenticeship entry exam
The desire to obtain your Journeyman's certificate will be key to your success in this position
Experience working on trailers as a heavy duty technician would be an asset
Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities
Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
Willingness to work outside in all temperatures
Ability to work unsupervised
Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers’ License.
May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less.

This position is subject to a Friday to Sunday day shift schedule. Hours of work are 06:00 - 18:30.
