Be an essential part of BC Women’s Health as a General Duty Nurse, focusing on family-centered care. Ensure patient safety while providing quality nursing services in a cooperative environment.
As a General Duty Nurse, your role includes direct patient care, developing individualized care plans, and engaging with families for effective health promotion. You'll maintain detailed records and provide education to patients and their caregivers. Participation in nursing education and quality improvement initiatives is also a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and implement care strategies
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Keep accurate and current patient care documentation
• Instruct caregivers and patients on health management
• Mentor and educate new nursing professionals
Requirements:
• RN registration with BCCNP required
• At least one year of relevant experience needed
• Proficient communication skills are essential
• Collaborative team engagement abilities required
• Physical readiness for nursing tasks required
