Electrical TechnicianLocation:Calgary CanadaPay rate:$25/hr - $27/hrContract Length:6 monthsAs an Electrical Technician, you will assemble complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material. Perform functional testing on assemblies. Test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria. Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Set, calibrate and maintain assembly tools. Perform torquing of various components. Distribute quality notifications.Responsibilities:Assembling complex components per assembly drawings / bill of materialReading/interpreting assembly blueprintsPerforming functional testing on assemblies.Following written and verbal work instructionsTroubleshootingAccurately using measuring instruments.Provide feedback about ease of assembly / fitment and ergonomics of current designs.Qualifications:Associates degree preferred with 1+ years’ experienceMechanically inclined with troubleshooting skillsTeam player and capable of working well with minimal supervision while following safety proceduresComfortable with Electronics and Electric circuits, diagrams, instruments and electrical safetyMust be able to stand during majority of shift, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally push/pull up to 10 pounds of forceMust be able to operate crane/hoist and pallet jack.Previous experience operating a forklift is an asset.Technologist, apprentices or ticketed tradespeople with solid interpersonal skills welcome#J-18808-Ljbffr
