The University of Manitoba is hiring for two lab sections (RUSN 1302 B01 & B02) requiring 4 hours of commitment each week. As a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Seminar Leader, you will play a significant role in fostering students' understanding of the Russian language through materials preparation, grading, and consultation. Ideal for graduate and undergraduate students pursuing academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in planning and orientation meetings for course staff • Develop and present instructional materials to students • Evaluate and grade tutorial submissions and exams • Offer regular consultations for student support • Undertake approved substitution tasks as needed
Requirements: • Expertise in Russian language or similar academic background • A compassionate approach towards student inquiries • Robust command of English language communication • Full-time student status at the University of Manitoba • Preference for registered students in a related department
