In this key managerial position with the Prospector and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), you will facilitate operational efficiency and provide staff support for policy analysis and development. By leading collaboration with senior management and external stakeholders, you will ensure effective execution of the Lands and Regulations programming. Your contributions will help refine policy initiatives that impact the mineral industry significantly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations and administrative tasks for the policy team
• Supervise and coach Policy Analysts for professional development
• Develop policy briefings and consultation responses
• Coordinate with internal departments for cohesive practices
• Research and analyze policy issues related to land use
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science or similar
• 5-10 years experience in policy and advocacy
• Robust leadership and management experience
• Familiarity with legislative processes and financial disclosures
• Ability to produce clear advocacy materials and reports
