Be a leader in trades education as the Program Leader with Ampere in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. This full time position offers a chance to improve workforce development in diverse communities.
In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing educational programs in trades and manufacturing. You will partner with trades professionals, manage delivery logistics, and focus on achieving positive learner outcomes. Your work contributes to empowering individuals in rural and Indigenous areas through practical training and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate program visions into actionable operational plans
• Contract and guide subject-matter experts for curriculum content
• Recruit and manage trainers to ensure effective delivery
• Cultivate partnerships with local employers for training support
• Set goals for learner outcomes and progression monitoring
Requirements:
• Experience in program management for workforce initiatives
• Ability to build and maintain skilled relationships
• Willingness to travel to rural and remote communities
• Familiarity with grant processes and educational compliance
• Genuine interest in enhancing opportunities for diverse populations
