Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

Starting Wage: $34/hr (with eligible raises at 3 months and 1 year)

We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Service Technician who can work independently, communicate professionally, and deliver consistent, high‑standard results in the field. About the Role

You will perform hands‑on irrigation and lighting service, troubleshooting, repairs, and seasonal maintenance across the North Shore, Squamish corridor, and select additional service areas. This role offers independence, variety, and the opportunity to work with a supportive, professional team.

Travel Time Policy: Kore covers any travel time over one hour.

For example: if the commute is 1.25 hours, the technician is paid the additional 0.25 hours on top of their service day.

Sechelt Work: Occasional service at a care home. Kore covers ferry admission and travel time for this site.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on irrigation systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving 2‑wire systems, valves, solenoids, controllers, and wiring
- Install,



adjust, and maintain irrigation components (heads, nozzles, drip lines, controllers)
- Provide landscape lighting service, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Complete seasonal work, including start‑ups, winterizations, and blowouts
- Conduct backflow testing and reporting in accordance with certification requirements
- Manage daily service routes independently and maintain accurate job records
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding findings and recommendations.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Support snow and salt operations during winter months.
- Represent Kore Ventures Inc. with professionalism, reliability, and a robust customer‑service mindset

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 3–5+ years irrigation experience
- 1–2+ years of landscape lighting experience
- Strong experience with 2‑wire systems
- CIT 1 & CIT 2
- Valid Backflow Certification
- Available for snow and salt operations
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Professional communication skills and a positive, dependable work ethic

Compensation

- Starting wage: $34/hr for candidates with CIT 1,



CIT 2, Backflow certification, and required experience
- Eligible wage increases at 3 months and 1 year
- Paid travel time beyond one hour is covered
- Ferry admission covered for Sechelt service days
