KulKon is growing, and we’re looking for talented professionals to join our team of home-building experts. We are currently seeking a Multi-Family Construction Site Superintendent to lead projects in Fernie and across the Elk Valley and Eastern BC.

Role To oversee and lead construction operations on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and workmanship. The Site Superintendent will drive site productivity while fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate project schedules with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and inspectors to complete projects on schedule.
- Supervise and support site staff and temporary workers while assigning and prioritizing daily work.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and distribute three-week look-ahead schedules.
- Implement and actively manage project schedules while notifying the management team of performance or schedule concerns.
- Proactively identify potential issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Monitor materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are met at all stages of construction.
- Manage the Company Health, Safety, and Environmental program in accordance with company safety policies.
- Maintain clear communication with the project team and subcontractors to support efficient execution.
- Initiate RFIs when clarification of plans or specifications is required.
- Coordinate required inspections to ensure compliance with all regulations.




- Maintain detailed daily site logs including visitors, work performed, materials used, and issues resolved.
- Travel between project sites as required and manage multiple workloads simultaneously.
- Support site staff, trades, and the Customer Experience team.
- Identify and resolve problems through effective communication and coordination.
- Ensure strict adherence to construction documents and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site environment.
- Ensure project workflow systems and schedules remain updated.

Compensation & Benefits Salary: $95,000 – $140,000 per year
