As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a people-first leader to build and lead our Project Management Office (PMO).Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Leadership & Team DevelopmentProvide day-to-day leadership of the PMO, ensuring consistent application of methodology, governance, and delivery standardsAct as the primary escalation point for delivery risks, resourcing constraints, and cross-team dependenciesBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of project managers and analystsLead with a coaching mindset, adapting approach to different personalities, experience levels, and working stylesEstablish clear roles, career paths, and development plans to grow PMO talentFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementCoach and support project leaders across the organization, elevating enterprise project management capabilityPMO Strategy & Organizational EnablementEstablish and evolve the PMO as a center of excellence, with a strong focus on enabling people and teams to succeedProvide value to the business and stakeholders by offering advice and guidance from the PMO’s perspectiveDevelop and implement frameworks, tools, and training to standardize and elevate project deliveryAlign project portfolio with Farber’s strategic priorities and business goalsProject & Portfolio OversightOversee the intake, prioritization,
and execution of enterprise-wide initiativesEnsure consistent application of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)Monitor project performance, risks, and resource capacity across the portfolioProvide clear, actionable reporting and insights to senior leadershipSeek guidance from senior leadership when necessaryStakeholder Engagement & InfluenceBuild credibility with senior leaders and subject matter experts who may challenge process, timelines, or prioritiesInfluence alignment across strong personalities and competing viewpoints, using data, empathy, and sound judgmentNavigate resistance constructively balancing firmness on standards with flexibility in approachAct as a trusted advisor who can both challenge and support stakeholders to improve outcomesTranslate PMO structure into practical value, ensuring teams see governance as an enabler rather than a constraintGovernance & Risk ManagementEstablish governance structures that promote transparency, accountability, and informed decision-makingProactively identify and mitigate risks across the project portfolioEnsure adherence to best practices, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, while applying sound judgment and pragmatism to fit the needs of the businessQualificationsPMP required; PMI-PMOCP (PMO Certified Practitioner) designation10+ years of progressive experience in project management/program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleDemonstrated success building, scaling, or transforming a PMO, ideally within qualified or financial servicesStrong track record of leading and developing high-performing teamsExceptional stakeholder management and communication skills,
