Position: Back Counter P arts Advisor

Location: Sherwood Park, AB
Classification: Full-Time, Immediate Hire

Your area of focus.

Research and source parts for technicians/internals

Issue parts price quotes

Sell parts to customer or service work orders

Complete special-order parts requests that need to be ordered by the customer

Communicate with the customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership

Pick-up parts for customers or technicians as required

Restock shelves and put warranty parts into appropriate bins

Keep work area and displays clean

Must follow all company safety policies and procedures

Other duties as required

What drives your day-to-day?

What Are The Must-haves…

Some familiarity and/or experience with working in an automotive dealership and/or Parts Department

Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses is considered an asset

Experience with CDK is considered an asset

A general understanding of Parts & Service operations and inventory management

A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

A person of professionalism and high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honors their commitments

Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful

High-level skills in Word, Excel and MS Office etc.

Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time

Must possess a valid Ontario driver's license and have a safe driving history

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Compensation
The expected range of compensation for this position is $23 – $25 Hourly — Flat Rate. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
