Make a significant impact in adolescent mental health care with Shared Health in Winnipeg. As an Adolescent Mental Health Counselor II, you will provide direct client care and lead therapeutic group sessions.
This role requires practical experience in child and adolescent settings, focusing on treatment planning and implementation. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team while ensuring effective use of community resources. Your role will influence the quality of care provided to young clients in Manitoba, aligning with the Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct care to adolescent clients
• Plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
• Facilitate and manage therapeutic group sessions
• Establish qualified relationships within the team
• Identify and utilize community resources effectively
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of related practical experience
• Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent
• Child and adolescent experience preferred
• Active member of the Child & Youth Care Worker Association is a plus
• Current Criminal Records Check required
