Sea will be providing workforce catering and accommodation services for guests onboard the MV Isabelle, a 650-passenger Floatel.

At work, the crew is provided with accommodation, full meals, and WIFI, and can access health/gym facilities when off work.

We provide partial uniforms and help with the travel/reservations as needed to and from locations.

Union Status and Collective Agreement Your position is unionized and falls within the bargaining unit represented by UNITE HERE! Local 40.

The terms and conditions of your employment, including wages, hours of work, and working conditionsare governed entirely by the prevailing Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Landsea and the Union.

Your base salary will be $22.45/hour.

You will also receive overtime pay paid at time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours/week.

There will be rotating shifts, and variable start times.

You will be entitled to 10 days of paid holiday (or 4% of gross salary).

Your compensation strictly complies with the UNITE HERE! Local 40 wage scale for this classification.

About the Opportunity This is a temporary position for a service contract that will end on January 30th, 2027.

We currently have Five openings for Kitchen Helper.

This position is responsible for assisting in preparing meals and ensuring the kitchen, dining, and living areas are always clean and sanitary.

This position requires the ability to follow directions and be diligent, focused, and consistent.

Comfort with kitchen equipment and knife skills are required.





Applicants must have minimum 2 years experience in a hotel or cruise ship and must have the ability to work long shifts, weekends, holidays in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Available to work multiple rotations.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills (read, write, and speak English).

Meticulous attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.

Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently, and as a team player who supports, motivates, and encourages others.

Job Responsibilities Assist cooks with basic food preparation, including food portioning and service.

Support the kitchen and dining staff in cleaning and resetting tables.

Assist in the kitchen where required during production.

Maintain adequate stock of food and drink in serving areas and minimize leftovers and product waste.

Clean and sanitize all kitchen work areas including all kitchen equipment and appliances.

Clean and operate dishwashing machines.

Clean and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware.

Load and unload the dishwasher.

Wash, sweep and mop floors/all areas.

Remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.

Manage and stock inventory for the kitchens, dining areas, dishwashers, cook stations, etc.

Ensure courteous, efficient, and friendly customer and employee interactions.

Follow principles of sanitation and safety guidelines in handling food and equipment at all times.

Other duties may be assigned as required.

Qualifications Completion of High School, GED, or related area Must hold a valid food safety certificate.

Must provide at least 2 professional work references.

Must provide photo identification (PDF of photo ID) to verify identity during virtual interview.

Work safely and responsibly Excellent people skills Team player Physical Requirements Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch for long periods.

Repeat the same movements including fast, repetitive movements of fingers, hands, and wrists.
