Work environment Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canadas outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.

Operational Requirements Conduct repetitive tasks.

Stand, bend, stretch, climb stairs and work from ladders.





Lift supplies, tools and equipment such as buckets.

Travel to various outdoor sites with some exposure to weather elements by frequently walking distances up to 1.6 kilometers.

Be exposed to noxious odors from cleaning products.

Be exposed to potential hazards when performing cleaning and maintenance activities.

Wear Personal Protective Equipment as directed by the employer, including outer clothing protection and Covid-19 protection.

You need (essential for the job) Your application must clearly explain how you meet the following Experience in providing cleaning services (home, store, restaurant, etc.) that would include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning washroom/restroom areas.

Knowledge of how to apply health and safety procedures at a work site and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).

Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks (unclogging toilets and maintaining vacuums).
