Support the spiritual journey of seniors at Hopehill as an Assistant Chaplain. Your role will emphasize compassionate care and enriching the community through faith and holistic programming.

In this role at Hopehill, you will collaborate with the Lead Chaplain, providing spiritual and emotional support to residents. You'll build relationships while facilitating spiritual practices and connecting residents with relevant community resources. This position will develop your pastoral skills while opening pathways for leadership in wellness and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Foster meaningful relationships through active listening and support
• Provide pastoral care during significant life events
• Conduct visits to hospitals and memorial services




• Welcome and integrate new residents into community activities
• Support resident explorations of purpose, faith, and legacy

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Ministry or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience in chaplaincy or spiritual care
• Preferred experience with senior populations for enhanced support
• Effective communication and solid organizational skills
• Strong asset: bilingual capabilities in Mandarin or Cantonese
